Skills Camp｜KFF Technical Education Talent Cultivation Program

▌Goals:

1. Assist students who are eager to learn skills in mastering a specialized trade.
2. Cultivate outstanding technical and vocational talents for Taiwan’s industry and raise public awareness of the importance of vocational education.
3. Help students make full use of their time for learning, encouraging them to step beyond the boundaries of traditional education and explore cross-disciplinary learning that aligns with employment opportunities.

▌Strategies:

1. Overcome challenges such as geographical limitations or lack of equipment to create more opportunities for students from economically disadvantaged or remote areas to learn specialized skills.
2. Collaborate with vocational high schools to provide technical equipment and instructional support, giving more students the chance to learn and practice hands-on skills.
3. Promote vocational education through camps and activities, allowing more students to benefit and further help those eager to learn acquire specialized skills.

▌Implementation:

1. Plan a series of vocational courses during the summer break, inviting junior school students to participate.
2. Arrange shuttle buses for pick-up and drop-off at designated locations to reduce commuting burdens and difficulties, allowing students to focus on their learning.

▌Expected goals and benefits:

Over 80% of students receiving support from the program, as evaluated by vocational instructors, are able to achieve independent operational skills.
