▌Goals:
- Assist students who are eager to learn skills in mastering a specialized trade.
- Cultivate outstanding technical and vocational talents for Taiwan’s industry and raise public awareness of the importance of vocational education.
- Help students make full use of their time for learning, encouraging them to step beyond the boundaries of traditional education and explore cross-disciplinary learning that aligns with employment opportunities.
▌Strategies:
- Overcome challenges such as geographical limitations or lack of equipment to create more opportunities for students from economically disadvantaged or remote areas to learn specialized skills.
- Collaborate with vocational high schools to provide technical equipment and instructional support, giving more students the chance to learn and practice hands-on skills.
- Promote vocational education through camps and activities, allowing more students to benefit and further help those eager to learn acquire specialized skills.
▌Implementation:
- Plan a series of vocational courses during the summer break, inviting junior school students to participate.
- Arrange shuttle buses for pick-up and drop-off at designated locations to reduce commuting burdens and difficulties, allowing students to focus on their learning.
▌Expected goals and benefits:
Over 80% of students receiving support from the program, as evaluated by vocational instructors, are able to achieve independent operational skills.
